Bakyru Plans — scheduled backup per seat
Bakyru from QuantumLinx is smart backup for Windows: profiles with source, destination, and 24-hour schedules; engine in mirror mode (destination stays in sync, including removals when files disappear at the source); dashboard with progress and metrics; optional alerts (WhatsApp / email). Destinations: external drives, another local volume, or UNC/network paths. At the source the job is read/copy. Licensed per machine — Start 1, Pro 5, Business 10, Scale 25; trial or paid states per the offer. Use the Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-annual, or Annual toggles on the cards to compare totals. The official installer and PDF manual are in the download center—instant download, no registration wall on this site.

To decide quickly
Count how many machines need a licensed backup policy—the tier follows that headcount.
True copy on time
Each run mirrors whatever the profile currently covers. It is not a full Windows image—only the folders you chose to protect.
To grow
If the machine park grows, you move up a tier without changing the product logic.
Long walkthrough — Bakyru
Full walkthrough in English: mirror mode, profiles, scheduling, and what to sanity-check before comparing the plans below — from the Tech Dome channel on YouTube.
What plan does Bakyru approach your park?
Two answers are enough: how many machines run backup and your context. I’ll highlight the matching card below.
Examples: external USB drive, a second internal disk, or a network path (file server or NAS) reachable from the PC. Plans scale with how many licensed machines run backup—not the storage medium.
How to pick a tier
Match the tier to the real count of machines that must run a licensed Bakyru backup. If you are between two tiers, choose the higher one when growth is expected in the park.
What goes into the backup
You choose folders and files inside each profile—not a bare-metal image. In mirror mode, every run aligns the destination with the source (adds, updates, and removes files at the destination when they disappear upstream). Validate with Run now and keep a dedicated destination for retention.

• Destination: local, external or network (depending on permissions)
• Secure payment at checkout; After confirmation, the license follows the automatic flow
Bakyru Plans
The selector period is just above the prices and updates the four plans Bakyru displayed below. Overview of all QuantumLinx lines: Plans.
Backup by machine · QuantumLinx product line
Bakyru runs the scheduled copy routine on each workstation with mirror mode, path checks, network retries, a live dashboard, and configurable alerts.
Comparison of Bakyru plans
All tiers are per-machine backup. The difference is how many machines share the same product license.
machines with backup per plan
| Plan | machines |
|---|---|
| Start 🔥 | 1 |
| Pro | 5 |
| Business ⭐ | 10 |
| Scale | 25 |
✅ Coverage by machine
Each Bakyru license ties to machine that should participate in the backup routine — easy to count and audit.
✅ Continuity after failures
If the station disk fails, but scheduled runs were copying to external storage or the network, profile files can be recovered at the destination — per the last successful run.
✅ Predictable scale
The four tiers cover 1–25 machines in the table; above that, pricing is custom.
If you are in doubt between 2 Bakyru plans
Count the machines that actually need the license in the next few months. If you are on the frontier (e.g.: 5 vs 6), evaluate the park's growth before closing.
When Bakyru usually makes sense
Whenever the priority is to keep a second copy of what is at the stations — in an automatic schedule, with a clear destination and without mixing with other software needs.
Critical stations
PCs with sensitive documents or heavy daily work — dedicated backup policy per machine.
Teams and offices
Several machines with the same need: profiles aligned with the routine and scheduling that does not rely on remembering to copy by hand.

Common questions — Bakyru
The answers below are about Bakyru plans and hiring. For the full explanation of the software's behavior, open Bakyru — how it works.
What changes between Start, Pro, Business, and Scale on Bakyru?
Only the number of machines covered by the license: 1, 5, 10 or 25 stations depending on the tier.
Does Bakyru change my original files?
No. The routine reads the source and writes the copy to the configured destination. The goal is a backup copy, not rewriting the working files.
How does per-machine licensing work in Bakyru?
Each protected station counts towards the plan limit. When you surpass the tier, you upgrade your plan or request a proposal for larger volumes.
Can I start small and grow later?
Yes. This is a common path. You can start with the plan that represents the current reality and adjust as the team, volume and needs grow.
Where do I read contract, renewal and support rules?
Commercial conditions, documentation and support channels follow the package QuantumLinx sends at checkout and the terms published on the website. When in doubt, use the Sarah.
